The Â鶹´«Ã½ Parents and Friends Association

Welcome to the Â鶹´«Ã½ community! As an Â鶹´«Ã½ parent, you are automatically a member of the Parents and Friends (P&F) Association and are warmly encouraged to actively participate in its activities and support the College's initiatives.

With a focus on fostering community spirit ("friendraising") and fundraising, the P&F's executive group and supporters manage a wide range of activities. All members are invited to share ideas, participate in events, or both. Whether you're assisting at the barbecue on sports days, volunteering in the canteen, or supporting our annual Trivia Night, your contribution will help nurture and grow our unique Â鶹´«Ã½ community.

The P&F meets once each term, in addition to the annual AGM in November. Parents will receive timely updates on social events and school news through the Â鶹´«Ã½ Portal and App, Pin Oak Magazine, and the College Newsletter.

Objects

  1. To render to the Board of Governors all possible assistance in promoting the educational interests of the school community by bringing the College Executive, the teaching staff, parents and students into close partnership.
  2. To confer with the Head of College in matters relating to the educational needs of the College, the staff and students
  3. To assist in the provision of teaching and learning equipment and other amenities for the College.
  4. To give public expression within meetings of the Association to matters affecting the education, safety and welfare of school children.

Meetings

Meetings are generally held in Clocktower Rooms 6/7 near the David Wright Library, on a Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The AGM is generally followed by Thank You drinks.
